A beautiful exhibition for Bruno Munari
This afternoon I visited the small but fabulous exhibition dedicated to Bruno Munari at the Fondazione Magnani-Rocca in Mamiano (PR). Not taking advantage of the fact that it is 15 minutes from home would have been unforgivable.😅 I won't even try to describe the wonder of the projects on display. I just recommend you visit it.
The exhibition is not subdivided by project type, but instead pursues the goal of relating even very different outputs through a small number of concepts and ideas that guided Munari throughout his life as a designer and humanist. This decision allows us to grasp the extraordinary vitality of the Milanese designer and his ability to transcend traditional classifications to arrive at a vision of design (and in a certain sense, of life) full of breath and a sense of irony, without forgetting, however, the importance of designing with a method and avoiding starting from commonplaces and preconceived visions.
The exhibition will close on 30 June 2024.
